James Wm. Kallman, Ph.D., ARM, CRM.         Honorary Chairman

Dr. Kallman is life faculty professor of University of New York, had been the president of Risk Management Department, currently teaches professional education courses in risk management, risk control, risk financing, and financial management. He is regarded as an expert in enterprise risk management and risk control and his seminars are presented internationally to organizations including Marsh, Aon, Risk Management & Insurance Society, GNP-Mexico, A.M. Best, General-Cologne Reinsurance, the Insurance Education Institution, the International School of Management – Paris, Tyson Foods, the United States Coast Guard, and the United States Department of Commerce. His global presentations have been taken place in Bermuda, Canada, China, Croatia, France, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Dr. Kallman? research focuses on risk control and loss control project decision-making. This research explores the decision-making variables in loss control and combines them in a practical multi-attribute utility model – MAHP which is developed by Dr. Kallman. This new knowledge contributes to the understanding of business risks, assists in making efficient risk control decisions, and leads to economic benefits for businesses, workers, and society.

James Ray,Dr.     Rotating Presidency

Dr. James Ray is a Juris Doctor of Economics at the University of Southern Texas, founder of the Venture Capital Association and a senior member of the Strategic Partnerships Council at Rice University, and a fellow of the American Institute for Constitutional Studies. Dr. James Rayon is also an investment appraiser in resources and mining. Dr. James Rayon is an active investor in oil property in the United States and specializes in restructuring and international mergers and acquisitions of multinational energy and mining companies.

Simon L. Tang, J.D., Ph.D.                      Co-Chairman

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah, a Master of Arts degree from Brigham Young University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California. Dr. Tang is a member of the American Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Texas Land Title Association, the National Association of Credit Management (General Counsel), the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the American Society of International Law.

 

John A. Nechman, J.D.                         Vice-Chairman

Dr. Nechman has been awarded ?ising Star Super Lawyer?in Texas. He handles a wide variety of corporate, fund raising and investment matters and has assisted numerous clients in assets management, including stock, futures, debentures, REITs, etc. In 1983, John received his bachelor of arts degree in Spanish and International Business from the University of Texas in Austin. After graduating, he spent the next 5 years living, working, and traveling in over 100 countries on every continent except Antarctica. During this time, he became fluent in Spanish and proficient in several other languages, including German, Portuguese, Italian, and Norwegian. In 1995, John received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he has served as an adjunct professor since 2003 teaching. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center.

 

Kenneth Bowen, M.B.A, C.R.E.                  Chairman-on-Duty

Kenneth Bowen spent over 30 years in the aerospace industry, and held management positions at several aerospace companies. He is a Certified Professional Manager (Retired), and was a Registered Professional Engineer, in Texas, for over 25 years. He is currently a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in Commercial Real Estate. He is also President of the Houston Chapter of the Texas Association of Business Brokers.He received a Bachelor? Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He used to teach in University of Houston as Adjunct Professor.

 

Terry Moser                              Director                                       

Mr. Moser is a real estate financing expert and marketing pioneer?He used to work for Merrlyn as a investment banker. After leaving Merrilyn, he took over Moser Development Company and had been in charge of development, marketing and operation management. Mr. Moser earned his reputation by his great achievement in real estate industry. He was awarded ?arketing Star of the Year?by several real estate marketing and sales associations. He is former Chairman of Legal Council in American Realtors?Association and the former chairman of Ohio Real Estate Brokers Association.
